Characteristics: Thermal conductivity as low as 0.027 W/(m·K); superior thermal insulation; typically Class B1 fire rating.

- Polystyrene (EPS/XPS) Foam Sandwich Panels
Characteristics: Low cost and lightweight; core material is flammable.
Applications: Standard temporary structures; use in densely populated areas is currently restricted by relevant regulations.

Includes phenolic, glass-magnesium, magnesium oxysulfate, and silicon-rock sandwich panels; these offer specific properties such as fire resistance, moisture resistance, and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for cleanrooms and specialized industrial environments.
Classification by Facing Material
Metal Facings: Galvanized steel, color-coated steel, Al-Zn coated color steel, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc.
Non-metal Facings: Plywood, fiberboard, plastic sheet, etc.; suitable for specialized applications requiring corrosion or impact resistance.
