To meet the specific requirements for thermal insulation, thermal bridge prevention, and sealing in cold storage sandwich panels, installation must strictly adhere to industry standards. Key operational points are as follows:

 

Pre-installation Preparation
Material Verification: Check parameters such as panel thickness and core material density to ensure compliance with the *Technical Specification for Metal-Faced Insulated Sandwich Panels for Cold Storage Engineering*; spot-check thickness after the panels have been stored for over 24 hours.
Site and Foundation Preparation: Ensure the construction site is dry and well-ventilated; level the site in advance and cast a concrete foundation or lay channel steel ground beams, keeping the floor level deviation within 5mm.
Plan Formulation: Develop a specialized construction plan based on construction drawings, clearly outlining the panel layout and the arrangement of support and fixing structures.
Panel Storage: Implement fire, wind, and waterproofing measures at the storage site and keep panels away from heat and ignition sources; rock wool sandwich panels must be covered to protect against rain.

 

Core Installation Process
Framework Positioning: Mark the starting line; first fix the U-shaped channels or vertical columns, then install ground beams and ring beams, using a level to constantly verify column verticality (deviation must not exceed 1/1000).
Wall Panel Installation: Starting from a corner of the cold storage unit, fit the sandwich panels into the U-shaped channel from bottom to top, ensuring tight interlocking of male and female joints; do not force-hammer joints, as this causes deformation.
Roof Panel Installation: Install pre-cambered T-shaped iron supports in advance; rest the longitudinal ends of the panels on the wall panels and T-shaped irons respectively; secure with rivets after adjusting for parallelism, verticality, and elevation.
Panel Joint Treatment: For horizontal joints, apply sealant inside the inner and outer tongue-and-groove connections and press the joints tight to eliminate core material gaps; for longitudinal connections, leave a gap of at least 20mm, fill with polyurethane, and seal with accessory caps.
Corners and Special Junctions: Ensure butt joints at corners and T-junctions are flush and tight; fill gaps with polyurethane and seal them, ensuring there are no visible depressions or warping at corner coverings.
